I work in various media and styles, but running through my work is the sense of movement, in capturing a moment when we interact with nature allbeit on a minute scale and for an instant. My paintings are mixed media building on layers and textures to add depth and pattern into my subject which at present is focused on the world of creepy crawlies, and this reflects the world in which they live, of crossed grass blades, earth, stones and close up frames of pattern when you home in and look at them in their scale of life.

I am currently working on a collection of insect art brought about by an interest in close -up photography and a desire to explore the often overlooked world of mini-beasts.
As well as originals I also produce prints, cards and merchandise.
I have a passion for the natural world and introducing children to a deeper connection to the earth, and am also working on a series of stories depicting wildlife subjects for children.

I am attending University College Falmouth studying for my Fine Art degree.
